Not directly responding to your post but I never ever get this concept that leasing is bad cuz you don't own anything and buying is good argument.

If the rate is the same and the residual is reasonable, unless you intend to get rid of the car before the lease is up then leasing is most likely the cheapest option out there.

But that is just me.....

I do wish that leasing was a cheap here in Canada as it is in the US.
