I owned my E39 M5 at the same time that I owned the F10 535.
Now I own only the M5. If I had gotten rid of it when I bought the 535, I probably wouldn't have noticed how bad the steering is, how poorly the engine ran and the annoying often failing i-drive. Since I still had the E39 and drove both, it got to the point that I couldn't stand the 535 and sold it.
Keep your car. It's the best thing BMW ever made.
