I should add that the Service Advisor agreed to look at the car again. I'm annoyed because I have to arrive during rush hour the previous day in order to get a loaner car which will burn 2+ hours of my time to have this done AGAIN. However, I should give them a benefit of doubt that this will be fixed correctly. I've made it clear that I don't want it repaired again and would prefer it be replaced but supposedly that's up the service manager. So I'll have to give up my car for nearly a week with no promise of the seat being replaced. Will update at the end of the month after I get the car back.

Because the rip is at a point of tension, it's possible that the stitching looked good for 5 minutes until someone sat in the seat or adjusted it. Thanks for listening and your support, especially for such a trivial item. Hoping for the best and believing in BMW..
