FWIW, a concave wheel generates more drag. For max economy (obviously, not what you're looking for), the best wheel body would be totally smooth and slightly convex. Rotten for brake cooling, but more efficient. Since auto makers look for the best compromise - most of their wheels are relatively flat on the front at least in overall profile.
