I had the same issue with my 528i LCI. I refused to take delivery until they agreed to change out the lights. They placed the order for the replacements before I signed the paperwork. Two days later, they dried up and never fogged up again. After a lot of reading and according to the owners manual, I figured that this was normal. A month later, the replacements came in, and the dealership replaced them anyway. When I went to pick up the car, the new ones were fogged worse than the originals
. I wish that I had never gotten them changed now. The new housings dried up overnight, but I don't think that the new lights were adjusted correctly, because the driver side daytime running light seems to be much brighter than the passenger side (a friend noticed in the rearview mirror when I was following). I'll have them re-adjusted at my next service interval. It's frustrating because when you spend this much money on a vehicle, you expect near perfection (at least I do)...
