The nice people at the Welt managed to get my delivery time moved up, so I was able to head out of Munich by about 4 PM. Had a LOVELY dinner at Gasthaus Gottfried (thank you so much for the recommendation), followed by a blast up the autobahn, thru Munich, then up past the airport. This is QUITE a car. The torque is noticeable RIGHT AWAY (especially compared to my E90 M3), and I don't have any problems with the handling (especially on Sport) or steering. The goofy grin on my face every time I press down on the accelerator and feel all that torque is gonna take a long time to go away. And I got to try the Parking Assistant near my hotel -- worked great, but so friggin' weird!!
