My view is that there is nothing wrong with the oil change intervals calculated by the CBS, when using modern BMW spec oil. Others will disagree. I kept rigidly to the 20k miles or so change intervals on my recently sold e90 330d and drove 180k miles in it without issue.
Fuel and air filters are changed every alternate oil change according to the service schedule. I wouldn't expect to be paying for a service of any kind within a few weeks of buying an AUC car.
