On the mufflers, locate the flap, on top of the flap youll see a mecanical arm which opens and closes that flap. On the mecanical arm youll see a circular thing with a rubber tube(vaccum line) vonnect to it. You must remove the tube from the circular thing(use some wd40 it can get stuck some times) and then when the tube is off youll want to plug it, either fold and zip tie or use 2-3 layers of duct taoe to ensure an ajr tight fit. Some recommend a golf tee...stay away from that...its hard to get it out after.
Of yeah and once the tube is plugged, just tape it onto the side of where it originaly was but on the opposite side of the muffker of it will melt the tape lol.
I beleive the 550i has this on both side so repeate other side.
