I'm not a big fan of loud burbles, so I have the aggressiveness set to 0 and the period between 0.4 and 0.2 seconds depending on whether I'm on sport mode or not.

While I'm not a huge fan of pops and bangs, and it sounds like they could be 'bad' for the cats or the exhaust, I doubt it. The reason being my other car, a 2013 Boxster. THe sport and sport plus modes have insane levels of pops and bangs. I like those modes for a few other things (like steering weight and coolant temperature) but cannot take the bangs that are there STOCK. I would pay money to erase/reduce them. That said, I think it points towards not being too harmful, why would a responsible OEM like Porsche program it in?
