+1. I figured if they spent 10-15% of the R&D expenses of marketing and put it into promotions for diesels in North America, it would probably be a good idea.
But I guess at the same time, they need to start developing electric power plants in a forward-moving action because at some point cars (likely) will be electric-based, and BMW needs to be up to date with that technology as well.
