Just to confirm that my (newly arrived) 2016 F11 530d Lux does have this.
In eco-pro with cruise OFF, if you take your foot off the accelerator the revs drop back to idle, and the 'charge/power' display goes to the central position. As soon as I touch the accelerator the gear re-engages, revs back to normal.
