Yeah its a bit strange that they are happy to put the higher output N52 (or N53 as the case is in many non-NA regions) in the Z4, X3 and X5. But the 128i, 328i, and 528i are only given the lower output version.
Oh well, the turbo I4 is gonna replace the NA I6 soon in all these models anyway - so then you'll be able to get to 300hp with an aftermarket chip anyway.
