I really suggest any of you considering buying a F10 (or anoterh otehr BMW for that matter) to go for this option, it makes the interior look so much nicer. My E39 Msport had anthracite headlining and was a sort of felt like material, I assumed the F10 would be the same but it has a sort of plastic type material which I felt was a step down in quality, hence choosing this.
As well as the roof, the A B and C pillars are alcantara as are the visors and the parcel shelf is also of this material. It's difficult to photograph but I think this shows it off as well as I can. There are other colours I believe that the individual option offers, you're not confined to anthracite.
It is also very nice to the touch!
