In the US the BMW X5 35d is the marques biggest selling diesel. Diesel is successful in sales for the X5 and not so for the 335d as a majority of customers pick the 335i instead.
The next diesel on US shores will be the X3 Diesel and plans to introduce a smaller four cylinder diesel will arrive with the US market X1.
