SirNicholas, so you didn't use the other pre-drilled holes on the lip, which are intended for self-tapping screws. You only used the ones on the rear edge of the lip, which perfectly line up with the holes on the bumper underside, correct? So if the 3M tape isn't doing anything, basically your lip is being held by just the screws you placed on the rear edge as per the pics.
