Yeah, I've pretty much accepted the fact that my 2012 "Ultimate driving machine" is similar to my PC that I had almost 20 years ago that was running windows 3.x. The PC would get slower and slower over time and would not be quick again until I rebooted it or eventually re-format the whole system.
