I am sorry for messaging that late.
I also own a F10 520d from 2010 and with my car there is hardly noticeable any vibration from the gearstick.
Where the vibration comes from can be anything.
Can even use dice for that, lol.
Best is to have a trusted garage checking it.
It is very surprising no body, no body from this forum actually reacts to messages, so why do I actually call it Forum, it is far to quiet
