Let's not forget those badges look terrible! It reminds me of people who buy M-sport models and slap M badges on the back. Looks stupid and the name M550d x-drive is a mouthful.

It looks like the M550d gets aluminum suspension bits that it might not share with the regular F10. Also, the specs say the suspension is additionally "tuned" by the M division, but hardware differences aside, I'm not sure what the specifics are.
