Car arrived but ipod/iphone not connecting to the usb interface!
Hi all, car arrived today - also has brushed aluminium trim. No chance to take any photos yet - was dark n raining by the time i got home. Even though its the 143bhp 518 it doesnt feel a big difference to the 180bhp 520d. Got plenty in reserve and sufficient for my needs !
The msport suspension drives smoothly handles v well. Overall very pleased. However there is one major issue for me - neither my ipod nor iphone 4s will connect to the usb interface. They both charge but idrive screen simply says 'not connected'. Im using the original apple cable which i believe should all u need to connect both iphone and ipod. Ive just seen somewhere that resetting the ipod helps so will try in the morning. Anyone any ideas????
