Typically you will need a special OBD / Ethernet Cable hardwired (no Wi-Fi) to your Router, I think with some Port Forwarding involved, and then they can custom code the vehicle.
Compared to DVDInMotion's CD/DVD method though, these custom codings can be lost when the Dealer updates the vehicle software, and will have to be recoded. The plus side is as of today, they can offer a lot more features than DVDInMotion can.
