Read a review of the A6 2.0TDi in this month's issue of Car magazine (UK). While they liked it, they wished that the substantial weight savings had carried over into the vehicle dynamics, which they said were a bit stoic. Much better than before, but they noted that (paraphrasing) "while the base versions of the E Class and 5 series won't get you out of bed on a Sunday morning either, the 5 series still has the dynamic advantage".
It should be interesting to see how they review the A6 3.0T, although likely the group test will be 535d vs. A6 3.0TDi vs. E320 Bluetec.
