I did this and nothing changed. If I understand well what you meant... I went to the settings menu and the last item on the list said update. I pressed this and connected to BMW services (or something to that effect).
I think it is my 158 contacts that are doing this. Funny enough, my 2005 E46 (330 ci SE) has no problem at all with my phone. I just cannot not read messages but that is to do with the phone compatibility. Deither does my wife's phone in our 330...
