When I ordered my F11 the dealer initially insisted that I must have the Seal and Protect in order to achieve the discount I wanted on the rest of the car and accessories. There was also a possibility that the car was going to be delivered in the new year, which would have cost the dealer an extra £1000 in the UK VAT increase - something I wasn't going to be liable for.
It looks like its a nice little earner for the dealership and a complete rip-off for the consumer.
Needless to say, its since been taken off my order.
