i have a 2013 535i xdrive n55 .. 44k miles

3 days ago i wasn't thinking and was toping off oil in my car and dumped 5 quarts in when it wasn't that low to begin with.

it drives fine but the very next day and now i'm noticing after the car sits for a while and i start it, a cloud of smoke comes out the exhaust for a good 10 seconds and then it goes away.

im going to drain and change the oil this weekend

any tips? i just want to make sure it couldn't be something else, it literally started the very next day after i put the oil in it
