IMO Adaptive Drive is a must for the "fun to drive" factor, among all the other obvious benefits. DDC does not control de roll around turns like AD does and yes, there is a big difference. Also, I highly recommend IAS (Integral Active Steering) if available for your car because the turn-in is quicker and it makes it feel like a car with variable torque to the rear wheels like the Audi S4 with Sport Differential or the Acura SH-AWD i.e. just much more tossable and fun to drive than a car without it.
