If it's EU law, then why do the new Benz's not conform to it? The new E series has their grill angled back... looks much better and more aggressive. Oh well, just my opinion... really not a huge fan of the 7-series front either.  |
new law doesn't mean straight face, new law means the bonnet is elevated to accomodate those hinges that pop up during accident and hood slides back a bit. It has no effect on how the face of the car looks like, it simply is looking higher and thicker. See Ford Mondeo and its bonnet to get a sense of how all they will look like. Mercs hood is high as well.
