I do find the new 7 Series does look abit oddball compared to the rest of its siblings. But if I could afford it, I would still get one however as it has an awesome interior. Contrary to what most feel, I prefer the modern BMW interiors as compared to the Modern Mercs interior. but thats just my opinion.
Product placement in movies is very effective. Like for example Jack Ryan The Recruit, got me hooked on Porsche Design Phones even though I know its just an overpriced phone with not much difference as compared to the mass market sibling model.
