I'm just about to take delivery of a new F11 M-Sport with 19" wheels.

As is probably the norm, I have been offered by the dealer BMW tyre insurance. Usually I don't bother with add-on insurances like GAP etc but I think considering how expensive the run-flat tyres are on a BMW that it might be a good idea.

However, the dealer has quoted £449 for 3 years and £379 for 2 years for £300 cover per tyre. (at 0% interest if I want)

1. Do other insurance companies do tyre insurance and if so, are they likely to be cheaper.
2. Is £300 enough cover for a tyre on a 19" wheel.
3. Is it likely I can negotiate with the dealer to bring this quote down?
