It wasn't connecting/downloading for 8 hours, I believe it was waiting for someone to press a button in Germany
So the dealer calls me this morning and informs me that the reboot hasn't happened and without exactly explaining why, tells me they need to keep the car for another 2-3 days
But then at 2pm I get an email from the dealer saying 'good news, your car is fixed and en-route back to you'. So I have the car back and everything seems hunky dory
(for the moment).
