If you look at the car in the indoor photos above, that's what it looks like in a dull setting. While the BMW Welt has massive windows, the weather outside was gray and cloudy, so the car looked dull in the Welt compared with in the sun when we got down to Garmish-Partenkirschen.
I spent a lot of time studying this color and I think it looks great in all scenarios as long as it is well waxed and reasonably clean. If it is dusty and not waxed it looks dull.
