I agree with you 100%. I live in Brazil and i ordered my 535I through BMW Diplomatic Sales which aside from being exempted from all the duty and customs imposed in Brazil, BMW AG offer 30% discount on factory price for diplomats working in South America (on the base models). and still the cost of a well equipped 535i like what i see offered in the U.S. or maybe higher.
