Good luck trying to get this resolved. From my research there is little that can be done - the choice seems to be live with it or take a big hit and flick the problem and the car to a new owner.

I have driven several F 10's with the same problem, yet, the owners are not concerned - and don't notice the issue or worry about it. A great test is to put a half full water bottle on the pasanger seat or in the consule drink holders and watch it go

My conclusion is BMW will do little to find a resolve as only a minority of car enthusiasts owners even realise there is a problem.
