I went to the dealer today for my first service - engine oil, filter, microfilter. I also mentioned that my front brake pads sensor seems fixed at 60,000 km remaining since day one. I just picked up the car and:
- The front brake pads reading still says 60,000 km remaining (guess I should have asked what they did about it if anything)
- I got home (5 km drive) and the engine oil gauge now says too much oil (warm engine, level surface)
I did check the oil level when I picked up the car and it was right at the max (green) level.
The question is whether I should trust the reading at the dealership (cold engine, level surface - OK), or the one after driving for a bit (warm engine, level service - NOK)?
If it's indeed too much - can I easily pump some away from the top or do I have to take it to the dealership again
Thanks.
