With the stock 19" wheels, I asked the sales rep about using them for winter rims (they will give me credit for the rubber to go on the 20" wheels), and he said "you won't be able to find winter tires to fit them".
I can't find on the BMW website/auto configurator the exact size of the 19" rims/tires, but it appears that you can get Blizzak LM-60s to fit the 2011 5 series with 19" rims. See

Can anyone tell me the tire sizes, front and back, on the 550i sport package, and what you are thinking about doing for winter tires. I am asking now because I will get a better price if I buy them now.
