So... my bro bought a 2011 535i from Valencia BMW in 10/13 w/58K miles on it for $37K, no premium add ons, just 18" spoke rims. Black sapphire metallic, black leatherette interior. Lo and behold yesterday I found on autotrader a 2011 550i for $38K with 38K miles and all the premium packages on it! Currently negotiating with the douches at Crevier BMW (Anthony Dang) to just take my bro's car for Christ's sake and give us the 550i, if anything for the sheer comedic value of the situation. He says he can't, and wants to value the 535i trade in for 30K, not to mention having to pay the taxes/titles/fees all over again for no reason at all. Since this is a helpful forum, what do you think the trade in is worth? esp. considering the price paid for it as recent as 10/13. Going in to the dealer in a few hours.
