I've got the same feelings... I did 108.000 km (67.000 mls) by E60 523iA without any replacements. Now, according to calculation, to do above 100.000 is possible, but it only refers to the front pads; it seems that rears will not hold more than 50-60.000 km. And the dealer says it would be great result on F10...
It should be noticed, that in addition to the above mentioned reasons (DSC, corners, etc.), some say this situation can be caused also because of Auto-Hold function. In fact, I haven't heard any confirmation of this theory from users of manual transmissions.
