BMW dealers may have the BMW AG recommended alignment machine called KDS:

I did the KDS alignment twice in two years, once - when solved the famous "F10 pulling to the right" issue, the second - when put 20" wheels. Works perfectly, paid $150. If the dealer is asking for more - there is something totally wrong.
