But I'm torn between the 540i and 530d (both X-Drive). They're virtually the same price. If a 540d is added to the range, it will be quite a bit dearer and I don't think I need more than the 540i and 530d will give.
I'm leaning heavily towards the 540i, but it will be interesting to see just how quiet the 3 litre diesel is in the heavily soundproofed G30 engine bay.
