Delighted with my Sapphire Black 530d SE

Sapphire Black 530dSE with Ivory White Interior and Matt Fineline Wood Trim.
I was not initially convinced by the looks, but with the right color and spec, esp 19" or 20" alloys; the looks grow on you (and evidently all those people who have stopped me in car parks to say the car is 'smart'). Still relatively rare so happy I moved up from the E60 to the F07
The 530d is an epic engine: superb acceleration, low end torque which the 'Sport' chassis.drivetrain and 'D-Sport' gear setting; can get 31 mpg UK in mixed driving and 35 mpg UK on long runs.
The interior is simply outstanding. Most bits come from the 7-series parts bin, not the 5-Series and the space, build quality and finish is just superb.
Funny thing is, they have even fixed the headlight washer which now does not spray the entire front bonnet (just after you have waxed your car!!).
