Opti-Coat and Opti-Guard have the same life and protection.

The key difference is curing time; OptiGuard cures very quickly while OptiCoat is more forgiving.

You have to be very efficient in your application process (doing it right first time, minimum residue) with OptiGuard as it bonds very quickly; while OptiCoat allows you time to spread the coating.

This is the main reason OptiGuard is only available to professionals.

Once applied properly; they both offer the same benefits.
