Which winter wheels?
Hi, I\'ve got a 520d with 17\" wheels and called into the local BMW dealer today to enquire about the winter wheel packages.
The 17\" winter tyres come on style 327 alloys, whereas the 18\" have the option of either style 281 or 329. The salesman said he wouldn\'t recommend switching to a larger wheel because of how the break pads wear. Is this true? Is there anything else I should be aware of if I went to a larger wheel size for my winter tyres? I prefer the look of the 281 / 329 over the 327 so ideally I\'d like to go with one of these.
