I started with the best intentions of going through the whole bumper unscrew process, but after reading your post, and a few seconds of energetic test-pulling on the grills, I found that they came out smoothly with no extraordinary force. The Turner Motorsports matte black replacements went in just as easily as the original grills came out. Everything seems snug and correct. Thanks for the idea of not having to unscrew the bumper!
