I don't think that answers his question. I get that there is a benefit of switching out the stock catted downpipe with a catless to improve performance.

The real question is, why buy a catted downpipe to replace the catted stock downpipe?

(I'm glad the question was asked. Because, I was wondering the same thing) What is the benefit?

Also, has anyone concluded if the installation of a catless downpipe can be successfully accomplished without causing the code alert (whatever you call it) from appearing on the dash display?
