According to BMW Press material sent to the swedish press, there is a new engine in the F10 and F11 with slightly less consumption etc.
But, there is a surprise, a new model called M520D Xdrive:

Maybe a 2.0D with artificial sound of a M5 in its speakers? Makes more sense than in M3 to me.
