I'm finalizing an ED itinerary for the very end of October and into the beginning of November. It's to pick up a friend's 650 vert. I know that significant snow usually doesn't fall until December/January, so I've got a trip planned on mostly higher elevation Alpine roads in Austria, Italy and France.

The 650 will have 20-inch summer tires, so traction in even a bit of snow will be almost non-existent. Can anyone opine on whether we'll be ok that time of the year?
