Hello this is my first time here with my new F10. Heres the story I bought a 2011 535I X drive that has 20,000 miles on it with side damage. I repaired all of the side damage. When I bought the car it idled rough. I hooked the scanner up to it and the DTC is 135808 "Valvetronic servomotor position sensors short circuit or open circuit." The car sat for roughly a year while I accumulated parts. I know where the*valvetronic motor*is I'm just not sure what the dtc means. I am hoping that I don't have to replace the valvetronic. I have also tried to reset the the valvetronic but it keeps throwing the code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
