Thanks for the pics, info, and advice, everyone! After deducting the diagnostic charge of $189.95, it should cost me around $467 for a new battery and to have them install and register it. I've calculated how much I'd save if I were to do it myself and it wouldn't be a ton of money. Since this is our first BMW, I'd rather have them do it. I have, however, ordered an ENET cable and an Apple MFi certified lightning to ethernet adapter so I can start doing some coding using my phone and the BimmerCode app.
