The N55 has a good spread of power and torque, makes for a very good delivery. I love mine, even coming from a 330 diesel, where torque is always on tap.

Im a big fan of the new forced induction petrol engines.

I have driven the XF 3.0 SC. It may "only" have 450NM compared to the diesels 600NM but it felt far quicker in the real world which is probably down to the torque being spread over the rev range unlike a diesel which has a short power band.
