Yes, I do remember.
It is going to be a jump and honestly, the 520D was just not cutting it. When I drove my 330 Coupe, the 520 just felt ...... well lethargic !
LEDs look awesome; I will order these.
Servicing will not effect the coding (very limited chance that they actually overwrite the individual values, unless the new firmware is completely overwritten).
