After Prost had retired from F1, Senna befriended him. Ever since, they got along very well till the very unfortunate day that Senna perished at Imola. Prost was one of the pallbearers of Senna's coffin. And still today, Senna's family has a good relationship with Prost.
Prost explained this in a couple of interviews, including this one (2021). Even if you'd dislike Prost, watch it - it gives some insight about the Prost-Senna rivalry:
